Mir Castle is a unique monument of Belarusian architecture, it was built in early 16th century near village Mir (Grodno Region).

Despite numerous destruction's (the heaviest were during 1812 war) the Mir Castle survived until now; and at present this monument is under UNESCO's auspices.
Museum of Old Crafts in Dudutki Belarus present the history and folklore of the country. The main goal of Dudutki is to present the oldest forms of culture and daily routine of the medieval people of Belarus to younger generations and foreign visitors. The tourists could not only see but also try different crafts themselves. In addition, you could try traditional bread and cheese and have a nice dnner with national food and dishes.

One more interesting place is Strochitsy. It is the only open-air museum of folk architecture and culture in Belarus. The museum's idea is to present the whole Belarus in one small place. The museum consists of three historical and ethnographical regions - the Central Belarus, Lake District and Dnieper Belarus - each of which had its own peculiarities of everyday life and objects, planning and building of villages. Strochitsy consists of wooden buildings dating back to the 17th century, collected from all of Belarus. The visitors will see a school, Church of the 18th century, windmill, black smithy, barn, bath-house, houses of rich and poor peasants - a real picture of a Belarusian village. The homes and household building has the traditional interior and everyday objects, agricultural tools, and objects of applied art.
The museum will be interesting for everyone who wants to know better about history, culture and everyday life of an ancient Belarusian village and its inhabitants.
In order to know war history of Belarus you should visit Khatyn (Hatyn) Memorial. It was built in the place of a former Belarusian village with the same name which was burnt together with people lived there by the Nazi in the course of WWII.

During your Walking down the former central street of the village, the gide will tell you the story of the village whose population of 149 was burnt alive. The tragedy was relayed by three survivors. You will see the history of destruction of towns and cities, mass killings of the civilians and POWs, Nazi camp system in Belarus, etc
